Purchases
What does Contrast Premium include?
One purchase (no subscription) unlocks all card packs and all sounds, and removes the banner ad on the Home screen. Ads never appear on the card viewer, for anyone.
I bought Premium but it isn’t unlocked, or I have a new phone.
Open Settings → Restore purchases (or tap Restore purchases on the Premium screen) while signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account you bought it with. There is no Contrast account to sign in to.
Can my partner use my purchase?
On iPhone, yes: Contrast Premium supports Family Sharing, so members of your Apple Family Sharing group can use it on their own devices. Make sure Share Purchases with Family is turned on in your Family Sharing settings, then open Settings → Restore purchases in Contrast on their phone. On Android, Google Play ties the purchase to the Google account that bought it, so your partner would need to sign in to Google Play with that account, or buy Premium on their own account.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from: on Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com; on Google Play, open play.google.com, then Order history → Request a refund.
Using the App
The controls disappeared.
That’s by design — the card viewer is kept clear for your baby. Tap the card once to show the controls; they hide again after a few seconds.
How do I unlock the baby lock?
Press and hold the top-right corner of the screen until the ring completes.
The sound stops when I lock my phone, or there is no sound.
Check the ring/silent switch and volume, and that no other app is playing audio. A sleep timer, if set, stops the sound on purpose.
Which cards are right for my baby’s age?
Set your baby’s birth month in Settings and Home will suggest packs for that age band (0–3, 3–6, 6–12 months).
How should I use it?
Hold the phone about 20–30 cm from your baby’s face, for short sessions, and stay with your baby. Contrast is a tool for parents and caregivers; it is not a substitute for face-to-face time and makes no developmental or medical claims.
